Navigating the menus of the X217 is simple and straightforward:
  1. 5 clicks of the fire button to turn on and off;
  2. 3 clicks to cycle through to the next mode (3 modes total: Power, TC, and Settings);
  3. When in a mode, hold + and – to enter that mode’s menu (settings mode adjusts the mods settings);
  4. + and fire to lock the mod (complete lock, not just adjustment buttons).
A really well-done and easy-to-use menu, and a nice improvement from their past chips.
